Membership types

We are an international not-for-profit association devoted to the promotion and dissemination of research into childhood disabilities. Founded in 1989, we have established ourselves as the leading childhood-onset disability community for researchers, clinicians, and other professionals in Europe, with a truly international demographic.

Our membership is available on an annual basis under two categories:

  • EACD Regular Member
  • EACD Regular Member - Hinari

As an EACD regular member, you’ll have access to the latest scientific and clinical developments and trends in childhood disability, congress news and activities, and you’ll belong to the leading childhood disability community for researchers in Europe. 

EACD membership is more than only a list of benefits. EACD membership is about supporting our mission to relieve individuals with a childhood-onset disability throughout Europe by the promotion of education and research into Childhood Disability.

Membership categories

EACD Regular Membership (€70 per year)

    To become an EACD Regular Member, you must have a clinical and/or scientific interest in the problems, care and/or treatment of childhood-onset disabilities at the time of your membership application.


    EACD Regular Membership - Hinari (€20 per year)

    EACD Regular Membership - Hinari is only available for individuals living in a country eligible for the Hinari Programme as set up by WHO for low- and middle- income countries. The complete list of countries eligible for the Hinari Programme can be found here. To become an EACD Regular Member - Hinari, you must have a clinical and/or scientific interest in the problems, care and/or treatment of childhood-onset disabilities at the time of your membership application.

    ABOUT ASSOCIATION

    The European Academy of Childhood-onset Disability (EACD) is an international not-for-profit association founded in 1989, and is an association for anyone with a clinical and/or scientific interest in childhood-onset disabilities in Europe and beyond. EACD's mission is to promote research and education for the benefit of people with childhood-onset disabilities throughout Europe and beyond.
