CME credits for Brussels EACD meeting June 2010

Dear colleagues,

It was great to have you in Brussels! I hope you are fine.

Concerning European accreditation, we are pleased to inform you that the EACD 2010 "Measures of Progress" meeting that took place in Brussels-Belgium from 26 to 29 May 2010 was granted 15 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) www.eaccme.eu

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is based on 1 ECMEC per hour with a maximum of 3 ECMECs for half a day and 6 ECMECs for a full-day event.

EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA: http://www.ama-assn.org

With best wishes from Brussels and hoping to see you in Rome,

Bernard Dan
President of the EACD2010 Meeting
